Our recruitment process

What to expect when you apply for a job with us.

Our Process

Visit our careers site to apply for a role.

For all jobs you'll be asked to:

1. complete a short application form based on a the key elements of the role

2. upload a copy of your curriculum vitae (CV)

When are applications reviewed?

The recruitment team will process your applications after the closing date, this is so everyone has a fair chance when applying for a role.

We look to review applications within 48 hours of role closing and for you to have an outcome on your application shortly after.

How are applications reviewed?

Hiring managers will review all applications based on the set criteria outlined on the advert and will complete a shortlist.

What happens if I don’t get an interview?

You will receive email of the outcome of your application even if unsuccessful. If you're not shortlisted for a specific role, you can still apply for other roles.

We have a talent pool, so if you don't get the job you applied for but we think you might be a good fit for other positions, we'll ask if you'd like to join our talent pool.

We want everyone to feel like they ‘belong’ so let us know if you need us to make any adjustments.

Where are the interviews?

Usually, interviews will occur at our Head Office or the branch where you have applied to work. We also offer virtual interviews.

What should be worn to the interview?

We recommend that you wear ‘smart casual’ but you can be flexible to how this best fits you.

Who does the interview?

At the interview, you will meet the hiring manager and a member of our careers team.

What is the interview process?

Every role we recruit for will have various parts to the process. All roles require us to conduct a competency based interview and could also include:

  • scenario/role-play
  • a presentation
  • panel discussion

You'll also have the chance to ask your interviewers questions about the role, the team and working for Principality.

You will usually be contacted by one of the hiring manager once a decision has been made.

  • If you're successful, you'll be offered the role subject to passing our pre-employment checks.  At this stage, you can also discuss salary, notice period, and anything else related to the role.

  • If you're unsuccessful this time, you're still able to apply in the future. You can request feedback following the interview. Feedback will be given by email and then phone at the convenience of the candidate.

Right to work

You'll need to provide right-to-work documents before you can begin working for us. These are legal requirements that we need to have on file.

Proof of identify

For UK and EU residents, we’ll need 3 forms of ID:

  • A valid passport or the original birth certificate (not a copy or the short version).

The credit check that will be performed will be a soft credit check and will not impact your credit score.
